Using a color checker is CRUCIAL when doing product photography. See my example of why!
Picture on the left before I used the color checker. Appears to be a blueish grey background and the color of the outfit is wrong. Photo on the right is when I used my color checker I then got the right background and the color of the outfit right.
Another crucial thing to remember is making sure the outfit looks right. See the photo below for example. One photo the sides are droopy and it’s not as full. To fix that I added two clips in the back of the outfit to fluff it out and create the shape it would have on a toddler. These little tweaks or tiny but as you can see it affects the whole photo!
It’s very important to have quality photos when you are presenting your product. This is one major difference with hiring a professional product photographer!
