“I am so sorry to say this, but we don’t have the availability to do your session.”

That is a sentence we photographers dread to say. We always are excited when someone reaches out, saying that they want us to document apart of their lives.  We love knowing that out of other photographers you have chosen us and it’s sad when we aren’t able to accommodate. So this blog post is to give you an ideal time to book your session to make sure we have the availability and able to provide you our full experience.

Maternity Sessions

Our ideal timeframe to photograph maternity sessions is when you are between 30-34 weeks. We found that 30-34 weeks is perfect to highlight the beautiful transformation of your body.

But these are just our guidelines that we’ve found works for majority of our moms, we want you to be your most comfortable, happy and less of a deadline.

Milestone Sessions

Our milestone sessions can be 4, 6, 9,  and 12 months. Sitter sessions happens around 6 months. But as we all know babies are all different. Our main mile marker is when your baby is able to sit unassisted for a sitter session.

Cake Smashes

These are best scheduled when your baby is between 6-7 months old. You may be asking yourself why so early? There is a lot of time and planning on my end that goes into this type of session. We create elaborate sets and we love doing it! Our backdrops and additional props can take upwards of 6 weeks to arrive! We want to make sure that there is plenty of time by your session date!

We also like to photograph your baby when they are between 10-11 months old for their cake smash session. This allows enough time for your images and products to be ready and delivered by their actual birthday. So you are able to share and display them for the celebration!

Family Sessions

Families have less of a deadline but are based on availability. If your wanting a certain date to have your photos done it is recommended to book and secure your session as far in advance as possible. Our weekends are the first to fill up on our calendar. As of right now ( March 2023) we only have 3 weekends available between now and July 2023. We book out 2-3 months in advance.
