Sturbridge, MASSACHUSETTS | val & john’s Wedding

Something very special, magical, and pure joy just happened! My team was there and was so excited to be part of Val and John's special day- their wedding day. We truly felt honored to document their beautiful day, and we wanted to share some images from their session!

John & Val moved to Sturbridge from upstate New York. when they found out John found had lived in Dudley going back generations. He found his grandfathers bible which contained a baptism certificate from 1912 from The First Congregational church Of Dudley. He then decided that was the best venue for Val to become a Durkee. The same church where his family attended going back generations.

From the tearful vows to the tender embraces - their session was full of emotion and joy. Congratulations to Val and John! Congratulations on finding your family's roots and making the decision to have Val become a Durkee! What a great way to honor your family history.
